HelpDesk: Newsletters, RootsWeb Review
Select which free newsletters are available from RootsWeb.com by using the Newsletter Management Center. Check the newsletters you would like to receive; uncheck the newsletters you would like to cancel. Select your format preference. If you continue to receive the newsletter in another format, it means the format you chose is not available for that specific newsletter. Additional newsletters distributed by MyFamily.com and its subsidiaries can be found here.
You can update your address by clicking here and completing the form.
Usually this means there is more than one address on file for you. You might be listed under a former address that is still forwarding mail to you or we may have a variant of your address on file. Look at the bottom of the newsletter you received and follow the instructions shown to unsubscribe from it. If the "to" address on the newsletter shows ANCESTRY_DAILY_NEWS-L@rootsweb.com you cannot cancel your subscription through the Newsletter Management Center. Those mailings are coming through a mailing list, which was set up for those having problems receiving the newsletter through the normal process. To unsubscribe from the list click here. An e-mail will be generated in your mail program with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. Leave the body of the message blank, and click on send. If that does not resolve the problem, Use the form here to request assistance from the HelpDesk
If they are in different formats, unsubscribe from the unwanted format version by following the instructions at the bottom of the newsletter. If they are in the same format, it is usually because we have more than one address on file for you. See above. If you cannot determine the reason, use the form to request assistance from the HelpDesk. Be sure to include the full headers information (the to/from information) and indicate that you have not been able to unsubscribe through normal methods.
First check with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to make sure it is not blocking the mail. Sometimes an ISP misidentifies newsletters and deletes them instead of delivering them. If that does not resolve the problem, use the form here to request assistance from the HelpDesk
