WorldConnect allows you to search a specific family
tree, if you know the database name (user code) of the family tree.
You can "jump" to a specific database from the main
WorldConnect page, or from the form shown in the side panel of this page.
This search method will take you to the first page of the individual
database, where you can choose to:
- do a simple search by entering a surname (last name) only,
- search by surname and given name,
- do an advanced search using the global search form, or
- browse through the family tree, including A to Z surname options

Identifying a database name (user code)
To find a user code for a family tree you submitted, go to
Password Central and
request your WorldConnect user code and password. If you submitted more
than one family tree, you will receive all the user codes and passwords.
To find a user code for a family tree someone else
submitted, access their file by doing a search. The user code
appears at the end of the URL (address), after the equal sign. For example,
"winch" in the address shown below is the user code for that family tree:
