If your search started from the Global Search Form, you will see results that look similar to this chart if there were any matches. If you knew a file name (user code) and went directly to the family tree, you would see the first page of that file instead. The first page of the family tree is also the first index page for the file. In this example, there were two matches and we are seeing both. Each page displays a maximum of 25 matches. If there are more than 25 matches, there will be links guiding you to the others.   Name This column lists the matches according to the criteria you entered. Each name is linked to an individual record within a family tree. Any information in the family tree pertaining to that individual will appear on the individual record, along with notes, marriages, and descendants. To learn more about individual records, click here.   Birth/Christening Date and Place Date and place of birth will be shown if they are in the file; christening information will be used if it is available, and there is no birth date. The individual record of the person will clearly state if it is a birth date or a christening date.   Death/Burial Date and Place Date and place of death will be shown if they are in the file; burial information will be used if it is available and there is no death date. The individual record of the person will clearly state if it is a death date or a burial date.   Database This is the file name (user code) which identifies a specific family tree. The link will take you to the family tree that contains that record. In this example, there are two family trees (mollard and winch) which contain a record for Charles Ira Winch. Clicking on one of these links will take you to the first page of that family tree. Click here to learn more about your options from that page.     Father, Mother, Spouse The blue silhouette indicates that the family tree will include descendants of the person listed in the "name" column. In this example, Charles Ira Winch will have descendants shown in these family trees. If the family tree includes the parents or spouse, they will be shown here and the links will take you to their individual records.
